18th November 2021: Net Zero Places and Innovation – Smart Rural 6

Continuing with the Smart Rural theme, the Centre for Research into Environmental Science and Technology (CREST), in collaboration with Connected Places Catapult and NICRE, is excited to announce this networking and knowledge sharing event.

The mission of our 6th Smart Rural event, is to encourage a better understanding of the opportunities to decarbonise and innovate within rural counties as we all worked towards a net zero future.

Deliberately choosing multiple lenses of energy, transport, land management, built environment and natural environment, how can we develop the narrative around the relationship between industrial and nature based solutions towards Net Zero? How can counties such as Shropshire lead on these conversations?

This is a blended event, with virtual and in-person attendees, so please ensure you choose the correct ticket type when registering.

Details: Thursday 18th November, 9:00am – 3:00pm. For a full agenda and to register for this event, please click here.

CREST@UCS is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
