9:05am: Mark Evans, R&D Tax Claims

Mark first became involved in R&D tax relief in 2009. He worked as a Chartered Accountant, operating a successful accountancy practice in the West Midlands. As a result he recognised that many companies involved in R&D were unaware of the corporation tax they could reclaim through the HMRC scheme.

Mark set up R&D Tax Claims in 2012 to provide a service dedicated to the manufacturing and engineering sector. Consequently, he and a team of experts have been instrumental in securing over £30 million of R&D tax relief. Mark has an excellent working relationship with HMRC. Moreover, he is an expert at using R&D cost enhancements to generate maximum tax savings for clients.
