12th September 2019: SWF presents Groundwater and Mining

This evening event hosted by Shrewsbury Water Forum will include technical talks from hydrogeologists on groundwater and mining. It is also an opportunity to network with others working in groundwater and surface water related fields. The subjects covered will include:

  • Alex Gallagher (WSP) – TBC
  • Felip Ortuno (Wood) Groundwater models for dewatering plans and slope-stability designs in mines
  • Barnaby Harding (Stantec) – Groundwater and surface water issues at the Woodsmith Mine site
