The Pump House Knowledge Hub, in collaboration with CREST and University of Chester, is hosting a series of workshops focusing on sustainability and building in Shropshire for construction businesses, property managers and landlords.

Friday 18th March, 9:30 – 13:00 Net zero carbon strategies for property and estate managers

Hear about the latest updates in legislation, regulation and funding for heat networks. Learn how this could provide a commercial opportunity for local businesses.

Thursday 31st March, 7:30 – 13:00 Sustainable retrofit in practice: learning from commercial and domestic case studies

Learn about some of the pitfalls and best practice in sustainable retrofitting as we walk you through some domestic and commercial retrofit case studies.

Thursday 31st March, 12:00 – 16:00 Sustainable retrofit from the inside out: the business case for alternative materials

Learn about the business case and benefits for using alternative building materials.  Meet with training providers to discuss how to best overcome the skills gap locally.
