Resource is often one of the biggest challenges facing SMEs and sole traders trying to grow their business. This expo hopes to address that challenge and provide some solutions. Various organisations will be on hand to share how they can support your business, whether that be through funding opportunities, training, academic research, support with environmental or digital targets, or student placements.
There will be a couple of short talks: Kirstie Simpson, Deputy Dean and Associate Professor, will talk about the partnerships that University of Chester has forged in Shropshire. Our Work Based Learning team will share the variety of student placements on offer, how they could benefit your organisation and how you can get involved. A full agenda with timings can be found here.
We also want to hear from you. Moving forward: what do you want from your local University? Is there a skills shortage in your industry that we can help with? Do you need support with moving your business forward digitally or environmentally? Come and tell us!
